Baltic Projects

Rear Extension

Kensington

Description

An existing small extension, steel balcony and staircase were demolished and removed.

Structural steels were installed, foundations dug and the new extension built.

Above the GRP roof, tiles and balustrades were fitted creating a fantastic balcony area with stone steps leading to the landscaped garden area.

Internally the new spaces created included two bedrooms and a new shower room.

The whole area was tiled and decorated to a very high level finish.

This development also included removing the existing curved staircase at the front of the property and installing a new stone one.

The coal hole below the front path was tanked and the walkway access brought into the flat’s footprint by moving the front door. This became the new utility room where a new boiler was also installed.
